Founded in 1980, ZOOPAN is a small/medium-sized Portuguese company (SME) with core business in the Veterinary market. ZOOPAN has state of the art facilities authorized for the manufacture of veterinary medicines (medicated premixes and soluble powders), products for veterinary use, complementary feeds, vitamin complexes, among others, including manufacturing of tailored made formulas with "white label", on customer request. ZOOPAN also represents and commercializes veterinary medicines (injectable medicines, soluble powders), products for veterinary use, and disinfectants from several major European brands. Our company policy is based on the Quality Assurance and the Safety of our products. Following our work policy, ZOOPAN’s facilities have Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification for the production of medicated premixes and soluble powders, NP EN ISO 9001:2008 and HACCP Codex Alimentarius certifications. Additionally we have a Quality Control Laboratory that allows us to provide the required assurance of quality, and our products are properly registered by the Portuguese Competent Authority. ZOOPAN relies on the great advantage of being part of a business structure that offers a set of integrated services, namely compounding and pharmaceutical development (production pilot-unit), analytical development, product manufacturing (including manufacturing of tailored made formulas with "white label", according to client specifications), and regulatory affairs. On the whole we have the skills to provide value in the healthcare area, and more specifically, in the veterinary medicine and nutrition fields. Additionally, ZOOPAN has a Technical Department, formed by multidisciplinary qualified technicians of recognized value, which develops its main activities in the provision of consultancy services, regulatory affairs outsourcing, quality management, technical training and audits for companies operating in the fields of animal health and nutrition.
